<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the natural frequency of a spring system including a device 1 in a horizontal direction as far as possible, even when a load due to the weight of the device 1 increases while a coil spring 4 is disposed in a space where a vertical clearance is narrow, in a vibration damper (vibration damping base A) constructed by supporting a surface plate 5 on a foundation (foundation member 3) by the coil spring 4. <P>SOLUTION: The coil diameter of the coil spring 4 is increased from one side toward the other in a center axis direction, and is set to a size so that by the compression of the coil spring 4, at least one winding portion next to first winding can enter within the first winding located at the end of the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
