<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure absorption of collision energy using a front tire. <P>SOLUTION: A front underrun protector 4 is supported by a matched pair of front underrun brackets 5 at a front end lower part of a vehicle 1 and extends in the vehicle width direction. The front underrun protector 4 supports front plate part 9 of an energy absorber 7 at an end rear face in the vehicle width direction. The energy absorber 7 inclines toward a back upper part by a predetermined inclination angle to a horizontal surface, and is prolonged in a longitudinal direction, and a stopper 10 of the rear end of the energy absorption 7 is arranged upper more than a rotary shaft 14 of the front tire 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
