<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fittings capable of preventing a window frame from being scratched when a sliding screen is erected as a fixed screen and capable of improving screen erection workability. <P>SOLUTION: A second bottom surface portion 24 of an end cap 20 is placed on a top surface of an outdoor-side top surface member 3F. A fixed screen 8 is slid while the second bottom surface portion 24 is brought into sliding contact with the top surface of the outdoor-side top surface member 3F. Furthermore, the fixed screen 8 is slid while a sliding-contact bottom surface 281 of a wall portion 28 of the end cap 20 is brought into sliding contact with a top surface of an outdoor-side lower rail 3B. The wall portion 28 is inserted into a recess 3G so that the fixed screen 8 can be lowered and positioned. Thus, the fixed screen 8 can be erected without bringing an outer meeting stile 14A and a bottom rail 12 into direct sliding contact with the outdoor-side top surface member 3F, the outdoor-side lower rail 3B and the like of a sill 3.
