An ultrasonic diagnosis device related to an embodiment is provided with an extraction unit (17a), a detection unit (17b), and a display control unit (17e). The extraction unit (17a) extracts a neck image region that is a region including a neck from an ultrasonic image of a fetus obtained by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. The detection unit (17b) detects a back-side body surface region that is the region of the body surface of the back side of the fetus from the ultrasonic image. A display control unit (17e) performs control such that an enlarged image including an image obtained by enlarging the neck image region is disposed in a region different from the back-side region on the ultrasonic image and displayed on a display device.
