<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately stabilize power from a power system. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided a power stabilization system comprising: a first power conversion device connected to a power system and configured to convert alternating-current power into direct-current power and vice versa; a plurality of battery modules each including a secondary cell; a second power conversion device connected between the first power conversion device and the battery module and configured to convert the direct-current power from the first power conversion device to charge the secondary cell of the battery module with the converted power, and convert the power charged into the battery module to discharge the converted power through the first power conversion device; and a control device configured to control an amount of charge or an amount of discharge of each of the battery modules according to a state of the power system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
