PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical phosphor capable of improving light utilization efficiency in a solar battery module and capable of stably improving power generation efficiency; and to provide a sealing material for a wavelength conversion solar battery.

SOLUTION: The spherical phosphor comprises a fluorescent substance, a transparent material and a radical capture agent. The sealing material for a wavelength conversion solar battery is provided with a light transmissive resin composition layer containing the spherical phosphor and a sealing resin.
