<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a trouble of a display image due to waveform deformation of a lamp signal by providing a structure for performing DA conversion without using a lamp signal. <P>SOLUTION: Within one hour, a pixel value of a video signal to be displayed is compared with a counter value of a counter for calculating a clock of a predetermined period; when the pixel value is accorded with the counter value, a potential of a data line VD<SB POS="POST">j</SB>is changed from (a) to b. When the voltage of a gate line AG<SB POS="POST">i</SB>is changed from a potential c that is lower than the potential (a) to a potential d that is higher than the potential, an accumulation gate G<SB POS="POST">S</SB>is transferred with a prescribed amount of charge from the data line VD<SB POS="POST">j</SB>and accumulates it. When the voltage of a gate line TG<SB POS="POST">i</SB>is changed from a potential e that is lower than the potential c to a potential f that is higher than the potential c, a transfer gate G<SB POS="POST">T</SB>transfers the accumulated charge to retention volume C<SB POS="POST">S</SB>to make the retention volume retain it. The operation of the accumulation and the transfer is circulatively repeated till the potential of the data line VD<SB POS="POST">j</SB>is changed to b, and the amount of charge corresponding to the number of repetitions is retained in the retention volume C<SB POS="POST">S</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
