<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of appropriately reinforcing a coupling portion between a movable lens barrel and a fixed cylindrical part without any need of a novel driving source. <P>SOLUTION: A lens barrel 10 includes a rotary cylinder (22) to be fitted with a fixed cylindrical part 21a. The lens barrel includes: cam mechanisms (22a and 21c) having an advancing/retreating movement region and an idling region, and connecting the rotary cylinder to the fixed cylindrical part 21a; and a ring member 50 having a protrusion 51. The fixed cylindrical part 21a includes an engagement part 64, and rotating drive mechanisms (52, 53, 61 and 64) rotating the ring member 50 with the rotation of the rotary cylinder. The rotating drive mechanism sets the rotating attitude of the ring member 50 with respect to the fixed cylindrical part 21a to an engageable position when the coupling by the cam mechanism is at a prescribed position heading from one end in the idling region continuing to the advancing/retreating movement region to the other end side, sets it to a release position when the coupling by the cam mechanism is at a position at one end of the idling region, and retains the engageable position when the coupling by the cam mechanism is at a position between the prescribed position and the other end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
