<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine intake device for preventing the rise of the intake temperature in a surge tank 2 in an idle stop. <P>SOLUTION: An intake manifold 1 is provided with an electric intake air flow generating means 4 constituted of a bypass passage 12 for bypassing an intercooler 3, an electric blower 11 (an electric fan) for generating a flow of intake air in this bypass passage 12 and an electric valve 13 for opening-closing the bypass passage 12. An ECU 5 operates the electric blower 11 in the idle stop, opens the electric valve 13, and generates the flow of the intake air passing through the intercooler 3 in the surge tank 2. Thus, even in the idle stop, the intake air in the surge tank 2 is cooled, and the rise of the intake temperature can be prevented. As a result of it, the intake air cooled when restarting an engine, is sucked in the engine, and knocking and slowness of acceleration can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
