摘要 <p>The stud welding head comprises a feeding device (6), and a stud holder (8) for welding studs. The feeding device comprises a feeding channel (10) and an insertion ram (12) axially moved by a ram drive such that the welding studs introduced via a bolt inlet in the feeding channel are insertable by a feeding movement of the insertion ram through plant at a front ram end by the feeding channel. The insertion ram of an end stop limiting the feeding movement is arranged such that a certain stop position of the insertion ram is designed for a certain target position of the welding stud. The stud welding head comprises a feeding device (6), and a stud holder (8) for welding studs. The feeding device comprises a feeding channel (10) and an insertion ram (12) axially moved by a ram drive such that the welding studs introduced via a bolt inlet in the feeding channel are insertable by a feeding movement of the insertion ram through a plant at a front ram end by the feeding channel. The insertion ram of an end stop limiting the feeding movement is arranged such that a certain stop position of the insertion ram is designed for a certain target position of the welding stud in which the welding studs protrude with its end to be welded with a defined projection over the stud holder. The end stop for the insertion ram for adjusting the position of the front ram end to the welding studs is axially adjustable with different lengths by an adjusting device. The end stop is formed by an axially movable sleeve-shaped adjusting element, where the insertion ram consists of: one of the front ram ends; a ram pin extending through the adjusting element; and a rear stop element coming into the stop position at the adjusting element to the plant. The adjusting element is telescopically guided in a tubular guide element, and is longitudinally displaceable by an adjusting unit, which is designed: in an adjustment to a certain length-gradation of the welding studs; and for a stepless adjustment. The adjusting unit is formed as a control cam gear, where: the adjusting element comprises a pin-like cam element radially projecting through an axial slot opening of the guide element; and the guide member is coaxially surrounded by a rotatable control element, which comprises a control cam surface that axially passes with increasing and/or decreasing the cam element cooperating in a circumferential direction to a displacement of the adjusting element over the cam element. The control element is rotatable by an electromotor or pneumatic motor. The control cam surface is designed with a certain number of step surfaces connected via sloping surfaces, where the control element is rotatable by a stepping drive to a certain rotation angle. The control element has a number of carriers arranged over a circumference corresponding to the number of step surfaces, where the carriers cooperate with a drive motor in such a way that a revolution of the drive motor rotates the control element to the angle of 360[deg] divided by the number of the step surfaces. The control element is fixed in different rotational angular positions.</p>
