PURPOSE: A pig feed additive for increasing the weight of pigs using medical herb microcapsules, and a producing method thereof are provided to enable users to obtain the excellent weight increasing effect of the additive with the small amount. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a pig feed additive for increasing the weight of pigs comprises the following steps: mixing medical herb powder including glycyrrhizae radix, and nutrients in a weight ratio of 20-30:70-80; adding 10-30L of water per 1kg of mixture, and stirring the mixture for 35-60 seconds using a homogenizer for nano-capsulating; mixing the nano capsules with corn gluten feed in a weight ratio of 40-60:60-40; stirring the mixture for 10-15 minutes using a stirrer; and drying the mixture for 8-12 hours at 50-75 deg C using a drier. The medical herb powder includes 70-80wt% of epimedium koreanum, 15-25wt% of glycyrrhizae radix, and 1-10wt% of taraxacum platycarpum.
