PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a low enriched high density plate-shaped uranium target and a low enriched high density uranium target manufactured by the same are provided to manufacture radioactive 99Mo for medical treatment using a low enriched high density uranium target. CONSTITUTION: Uranium alloy particle powder is manufactured from a low-enriched uranium raw material through a centrifugal atomization process. The low-enriched uranium raw material includes 1wt% or less of one or more selected from a group of Al, Si, Cr, Fe, and Mo. Powder compact mixes uranium alloy particle powder with Al-Si alloy power at 40-50 volume%. The manufactured powder compact is rolled. The Al-Si alloy power comprises Si of 2-5 weight.
