Thin superconducting semiconducting or magnetic layers are isolated by layers of a phthalocyanine or a mixture of different phthalocyanines in the alpha and/or beta modification, at cyrogenic temps. Used in superconducting or ferrite core storage devices. Phthalocyanines not brittle at low temps. (unlike silicon oxide), and cheaper than polymers.
