The present invention relates to a stretcher receiving device (2, 2') for receiving a stretcher and to a multi-stretcher receiving device based on this stretcher receiving device for simultaneously supporting a number of stretchers. The stretcher receiving device (2, 2') comprises a frame (5, 5') and a stretcher supporting platform (3, 3'), wherein the stretcher supporting platform (3, 3') has a guiding carriage (16) and a stretcher holder (17), and the stretcher holder (17) is connected to the guiding carriage (16) by means of a tilting joint (18). The proposed stretcher receiving device (2, 2') can be fitted into a wide variety of transporting means (1) and permits effortless, reliable and rapid loading and unloading as well as assured transportation of stretchers. The invention is particularly well-suited if the loading area of the transporting means (1) to be loaded is at the height of a person or above. |
