A power generator is provided to produce the driving torque of a generator on a real time basis by detecting pressure of supply and exhaust of steam. A power generator comprises: a driver(22) driven with fluid; a generator(24) driven with a driver; a supply pressure detection unit(52) detecting fluid supply pressure to the driver; an exhaust pressure detection unit(56) detecting fluid exhaust pressure to the driver; a pressure control unit(44) controlling the supply pressure or the exhaust pressure; and a control unit(28) controlling the pressure control unit so that drive torque does not exceed maximum load torque set up in advance.
