<p>In a facet joint implant comprising two components adapted in the area of a facet-contacting surface for placement on the outer surface of a facet, and a fastener for joining the two components to each other through a channel in a facet or in two facets lying against each other, in order to facilitate insertion of the implant, it proposed that the fastener be configured as a flexible thread which tensions the two components towards each other such that the components are pressed against the outer surface of the facet against which they lie.</p> |
