PURPOSE: A reading lamp is provided to create environment which can read a book by establishing a power supply unit controlling an external power supply provided to a light guide plate and a light source in a frame. CONSTITUTION: A reading lamp(100) comprises a light source(110), a frame(120), a light guide plate(130), and a power supply unit(140). The light source is a light emitting device which creates light of fixation intensity when receives a power source. The light source is mounted in a substrate including a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) etc. The frame fines the light guide plate. The frame comprises an arrangement hole formed in the inner side putting opposite to a light-in surface which is an outer edge of the light guide plate. The power supply unit comprises a switching unit(141) and battery unit(145) supplying the power source to the light source.
