PURPOSE: A spring binder notebook is provided to prevent from too much projection of notebook springs to upper and lower sides by binding the notebook using a square spiral coil spring. CONSTITUTION: A spring binder notebook comprises a notebook unit(110) and a rectangular spiral coil spring(120). The notebook unit comprises a binding hole(116) which is arranged along one side edge of covers(112) and sheets(114). The rectangular spiral coil spring combines the cover and the sheets by inserting the square spiral coil spring into the binding hole. The rectangular spiral coil spring is in a rectangular shape which a separation distance of right and left edges is longer than the separation distance of top and bottom sides. The rectangular spiral coil spring has an arch shape for right and left edges.
