The pad printing machine (1) has a pressure pad carrier for securing a printing pad (4), a receptacle for receiving to be printed object (17) and two plate holders (5). Two plate holders are provided on a moving carriage (6) at right angle to the machine axis (A). The pressure pad carrier is provided for color recording and for inking to be printed object that is movable in front and back direction with respect to moving carriage. A cleaning device (8) is provided to clean the printing pad attached with to be printed object, after each ink transfer.
