The object of an invention: A process for ion-exchange extraction of iodide from natural brines. The invention relates to chemistry and water technology, particularly to the process for ion-exchange extraction of iodide from natural brines and can be used on the existing in Ukraine capacities for the extraction of iodide by the sorption method with ion-exchange resins. The process for ion-exchange extraction of iodide from natural brines consists in that in the process therein, comprising primary treatment, iodide sorption with ion-exchanger, iodide desorption from the surface of sorbent and further extraction of iodine from solution of concentrate. Due to the invention as ion-exchanger octadecyldimethylamino-- propylsilica is used in the course of ion-exchanger contact with brineminutes and chloride concentration in the brine of 0.5-1.2 mole/l. The use of the process allows to raise relatively the expressivity of the method in 12 times and to achieve its use in brines with chloride concentration of 0.5-1.2 mole/l. |
