PURPOSE: A temperature maintaining system for a heavy fuel oil service tank of a ship is provided to maximize energy utilization and save energy by operating a heat maintaining heavy oil temperature and an oil supply pump using electricity of a power generator which is operated to supply electricity to all kinds of facilities of a ship. CONSTITUTION: A temperature maintaining system for a heavy fuel oil service tank of a ship comprises an oil tank(10), a heater(30), and an oil supply pump(50). The oil tank stores oil using as a fuel of a ship. The heater heats the oil stored in the oil tank. Using the oil supply pump, the oil passes through the heater from the oil tank and returns to the oil tank again. The oil is heated and circulated by using electricity generated in a power generator so that the oil cannot be hardened without operating an engine.
