PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select the optimum route to a parking lot from among routes to a plurality of searched parking lots when the plurality of parking lots around a destination are searched. SOLUTION: A route search device 100 acquires positional information indicating the current location of a vehicle by an acquisition part 101, sets the destination by a destination setting part 102, and searches for the parking lots within a prescribed range from the destination by a search part 103. When the plurality of parking lots existing within the prescribed range from the destination are searched, the route search device 100 searches a candidate route constituted by a route from the current location of the vehicle to the parking lot and a route from the parking lot to the destination for each of the plurality of parking lots by a route search part 104, receives parking lot information on the plurality of parking lots by a reception part 105, evaluates the candidate routes while taking into account of the parking lot information received by a route search selection part 106, and selects the optimum route from among the candidate routes.
