<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run channel for a window frame of a vehicle configured to prevent the generation of backlash noise without obstructing the lifting motion of a window plate. <P>SOLUTION: The glass run channel 80 includes a turnaround lip 90 extending in a turnaround manner from a tip of a vehicle inner-side seal lip 82 toward a vehicle inner-side side wall 81 and a lug 91 positioned closer to an opening edge 12L than the tip of the vehicle inner-side seal lip and the tip of the turnaround lip in a window opening state that a peripheral edge of the window plate 3 is not present in a groove 80S of the glass run channel, wherein, when the window plate is displaced toward the inside of the vehicle in a state that the peripheral edge of the window plate is present in a groove of the glass run channel, the vehicle inner-side seal lip is displaced toward the inside of the vehicle and the tip of the turnaround lip approaches a base side surface 91A of the lug closer than its position in the window opening state, or is anchored to the base side surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
