In a wireless communication system including at least one wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and at least on Node-B (NB), a method and apparatus for preventing transmission blocking comprise triggering transmission of scheduling information (SI) on a condition that a grant is smaller than a MAC protocol data unit (PDU) on a scheduled medium access control-d (MAC-d) flow. The SI is transmitted when the triggering condition is met. |
