<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel having satisfactory display image quality and reduced power consumption even though the panel has a high definition pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel 10A has a first substrate having a plurality of scanning lines 12 and storage capacitance lines 21 provided to be parallel to each other, a plurality of video lines 13 provided in the direction orthogonal to the scanning lines 12, switching elements TFT provided in the vicinity of crossing parts of the scanning lines 12 and the video lines 13, pixel electrodes 19 provided in respective positions partitioned by the plurality of scanning lines 12 and video lines 13 and an alignment layer, a second substrate on which a counter electrode and an alignment layer are formed and a liquid crystal disposed between the first and the second substrates. At least either one of the storage capacitance line 21 and the scanning line 12 and the video line 13 are provided with narrow width parts 21a, 12a and 13a, respectively, and the narrow width part 13a of the video line 13 crosses at least either one of the narrow width parts 12a and 21a of the scanning line and the storage capacitance line via an insulating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
