A unit for cutting seed potato tubers comprises a body, a tank with a single-piece feeding mechanism, a transporting working element, a cutting mechanism, formed by cross-like knives, and a multi-tape conveyer. The knives are mounted on a lead drum of the transporting working element in such a manner as to allow them shifting in slotted holes of cells and are disposed in a guide, arranged on the body, on the account of rollers. Under the upper tape of the transporting working element a shaker is mounted, this interacts with lower parts of the cells. The pitch of the knives is equal to the pitch of the cells which are made of a parabolic shape in the cross-section. |
