The system has a sensor (40) installed between a brake piston bottom and a floating brake caliper (1) connected with a brake to capture vibration signal (SC) emitted by the brake. A control and analyzing circuit (20) has a frequency analyzing unit (21) that decomposes the signal into fundamental frequencies. A comparator (22) compares the frequency envelope with a template (Gi). A control circuit (23) continuously receives normal comparison signal (SEN) to modify a brake clamping action by an electric gear motor (5) based on the comparison result. The sensor is chosen from a piezoelectric sensor, a dynamometric sensor or an accelerometer.
