<p>PURPOSE: An electronic device is provided to reduce power consumption while in standby. CONSTITUTION: An electronic device includes a signal receiving part, a calculation processing part, and a peripheral circuit. The signal receiving part receives carrier signals transmitted from a remote controller. The calculation processing part calculates and processes the carrier signals. The peripheral circuit is connected to the calculation processing part to be controlled. A power circuit for operating the signal receiving part, the calculation processing part, and the peripheral circuit is divided into a first power circuit and a second power circuit. The first power circuit supplies power to specific load including the signal receiving part and the calculation processing part. The second power supplies power to the peripheral circuit.</p> |
