A brassiere which comprises a couple of breast-receiving cups with an upper, lower and outer zone. In one embodiment, the breast-receiving cups include a moulded pad formed by a single foam layer having at least three substantially concentric different zones. Each of the different zones has a thickness, the innermost zone that is close to the nipple of the user having the highest thickness. The outermost zone that is close to the external area of each cup having the lowest thickness. The different zones provide improved support to the lower portion of the cup, thus also providing a flattened and adjusted effect to breasts of different shapes.
