An aerofoil structure (100) for a rotating blade-row in a casing, the aerofoil structure comprising a suction side (110), a pressure side (120) and a tip (130) therebetween, wherein at least a portion of the tip comprises a shaped feature (150) provided on a surface (134) of the tip, the shaped feature comprising a convergent portion (152) orientated to reduce a gap between the tip and the casing in a direction from the pressure side to the suction side of the aerofoil structure.
