<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the costs by decreasing the number of components while effectively supporting a light diffusing plate, a sheet, etc., of a back light and securely preventing them from deforming. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprising a plurality of straight fluorescent lamps disposed in parallel in a lamp chamber, a reflection plate disposed on the back of the lamp chamber, a plurality of resin-made reflecting materials provided on the reflection plate between fluorescent lamps, the light diffusing plate disposed in front of the fluorescent lamps, and a liquid crystal panel disposed in front of the light diffusing plate is characterized in that support projections supporting the light diffusing plate etc., are integrally formed at a plurality of positions of the reflecting materials closer to corners than to a nearly central part of the liquid crystal panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
