<p>There is provided a cleaning apparatus for unclogging an irrigation emitter inlet filter by dislodging or crushing or breaking a trapped solids. In some embodiments, a ram (518) pushes the trapped solids out of a fluid inlet (560) of the emitter. In other embodiment, a constriction provided for retaining a particle has a changeable interior cross section. By changing the cross section of the constriction, the constriction is unclogged. In alternative embodiments the filtration member may include two rigid members (124)(130) moving in relation one to the other or the filtration member may be elastic (318). In further alternate embodiments the cleaning may be activated automatically or manually.</p> |
