A training device for use in batting practice comprising means 12 to attach the device to a bat and guide means 14 to assist a batsman in adopting a correct batting posture. The device may have a forearm stop 14 which when the device is attached to the bat extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bat. The forearm stop 14 may have a cradle 16 to receive a user's arm and a binding means 18 and 19. There may also be a flexible upper arm stop 20 which to provide guidance on positioning of a user's upper arm. The device may be designed to assist with the technique required for playing cricket drives, cuts or defensive shots. |
