PURPOSE: A system for operating a dam group flood control and a method thereof are provided to improve the flood analysis performance through flood analysis training following a training simulation scenario. CONSTITUTION: A dam group discharge calculating module(341) of a dam group operating unit(340) distributes the discharging volume of upstream dams to prevent the flooding at a selected flood outbreak point. The dam group discharge calculating module calculates the amount of discharging volume per hour. A flood visualization module(342) simulates the flooding state of surroundings when the upstream dams discharge the flood to the low river valley.
