PURPOSE: A liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display device with the same are provided to minimize static electricity which occurs when an edge of the liquid crystal panel is cut. CONSTITUTION: An insulating film is formed on a buffer film. A metal film(128) is formed on the insulating film. A protective film(132) is formed on the metal film. A second substrate corresponds to a first substrate. A black matrix is formed on the second substrate. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and second substrates.
