PURPOSE: A road hazard information generating method which uses a transport protocol expert group(TPEG) link and a providing method thereof are provided to match map data and hazard information data by adding the unique identifier of the TPEG link. CONSTITUTION: A road hazard information providing method is comprised of the following steps. A GPS(Global Positioning System) satellite transmits current position information of a vehicle. A link in which a current vehicle is located is searched(S310). Hazard area information is read from a hazard area database using the unique identifier of a link(S330). |
