PURPOSE: A ship state determining system and a method thereof are provided to remove the installation of an individual line and to transmit a sensing signal to a central monitoring control device. CONSTITUTION: An address is respectively allocated to a plurality of sensors(200a,200b). A plurality of sensors transmits sensing information to center monitoring and controlling units(300a,300b) through a neighbor sensor. The center monitoring and controlling units determine the state of a ship by analysis of the sensing signal. The monitoring and controlling units output an alarm signal.
