PURPOSE: A falling rock detecting device is provided to facilitate to be widely used for falling rock prevention fences of various shapes and easily reuse after falling by easily restoring through a simple work. CONSTITUTION: A falling rock detecting device comprises an outer case, an upper fixing member(12), a sliding member(14), a lower deformation housing member(15), and a stopping pin(30). The outer case comprises a vertical through hole in inside. The upper fixing member is fixed in the upper part of the outer case, thereby supporting an end part of a compression spring(13). The sliding member is slid inside of the through hole of the outer case by an inflation of the compression spring, thereby transforming an optical fiber. The lower deformation housing member is fixed to the lower part of the outer case. The lower deformation housing member supports the optical fiber when the optical fiber is pushed by the sliding member so that the optical fiber is bent. The stopping pin fixes a position of the sliding member.
