PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase manufacturing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A pixel area is filled with electrophoretic dispersing liquid. A membrane layer comprises a plurality of hole patterns. The hole patterns expose the pixel area. The membrane layer is arranged on a partition wall. An upper substrate(200) is bonded with a lower substrate. The membrane layer is formed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate.
