The gas is passed into a liquid e.g. water which indicates by changes in its electrical conductivity the amount of absorbed traces. The water is circulated in a closed circuit from a tank to a flow meter and an anion and cation exchanger, where it is regenerated, to the reaction vessel and to the measuring electrodes. |
