FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: heating of bauxite pulp pre-heated to 85-105C during its leaching is performed in autoclave battery consisting of in-series connected autoclaves. Heating is performed by means of combined method: to temperature of 150-170C with indirect steam through surface of tubular heating elements, from temperature of 150-170C to 210-240C with live steam by supplying heat carrier to heated pulp, from temperature of 210-240C to more than 270C with indirect steam through surface of tubular heating elements. ^ EFFECT: invention allows reducing operating and power costs. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
