The electric motor (2) has a control electronics (6), where the motor is operable over a network circuit (1). A power supply voltage is rectified by a rectifier circuit (4). The motor is operable by an accumulator (8) in case of failure of mains supply. A control device (10) associated to the accumulator detects the rectified power supply voltage (Ud), and releases voltage supply by the accumulator corresponding to a predetermined fallen down voltage value in case of falling down of a predetermined voltage value.
