PURPOSE: A remote controller and a channel setting method thereof are provided to set up a channel of each terrestrial broadcasting through minimum setting operation. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(110) includes a channel movement button and a channel selection button. The channel movement button transmits a channel movement signal. The channel selection button is set up in order to select a predetermined channel. A storage(140) stores the predetermined channel about local channel information. A controller(130) sets up the broadcast channel on the channel selection button.
