PURPOSE: A cassette device for an automatic teller machine, an information managing method, and the automatic teller machine are provided to access stored information with or without contact regardless of the installation of the cassette device. CONSTITUTION: A paper money receiving part(11) receive paper money. A combination card part(12) controls the input and the output of information in a contact or noncontact mode. The combination card part includes a memory part(121), a communication part(122), and a power part(123). A contact type interface part(13) inputs and outputs information with respect to the combination card part in the contact mode. A non-contact type interface part(14) inputs and outputs information with respect to the combination part in the non-contact mode.
