FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: push-down rivet includes head and shank with central hole. Head has mainly cylindrical side surface. Peculiar features of connection of external surface of head to external surface of shank, as well as external and internal surfaces of shank to each other are described. In order to obtain riveted connection by means of push-down rivet there used is matrix provided with a cavity. The above cavity is formed with cylindrical surface and bottom. Relationships for determining the diameter and depth of cavity versus value of outer diameter of rivet shank and thickness of the attached part located on the matrix side are provided. ^ EFFECT: possibility of obtaining the riveted connection at reduction of requirements for strength and hardness of push-down rivet material and decrease of tension force required for the connection process. ^ 35 cl, 9 dwg |
