The shelving unit has two ladders formed of corresponding vertical posts (1002, 2002) and bars (103, 107, 110, 203, 207, 210) transverse to the posts. Shelves e.g. caissons (1, 2) and rack (3), are arranged between the ladders facing inverse L-shaped anchoring handles (A1-A3, B1-B3), where each anchoring handle is arranged symmetrically on a side end of the corresponding shelf. The anchoring handles are anchored over the bars of the ladders, respectively. The anchoring handles partially enclose the corresponding bars to maintain the two ladders in opposite position.
