PURPOSE: A passenger recognizing device is provided to clearly recognize first and second objects according to a change in first and second electric fields generated by first to third electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A passenger recognizing device comprises first to third electrodes(20,30,40), and a control device. A first electric field to which a first object occupying a seat is exposed is formed between first and second electrodes. A second electric field to which a second object occupying a seat is exposed is formed between first and third electrodes. The control device recognizes the first object using a value output according to a change in the first electric field and the second object using a value output according to a change in the second electric field. |
