The lens (418) has a set of transparent elementary antennas (441-446) arranged in or on the lens to form a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna. The elementary antennas are arranged on the lenses to form a single network of elementary antennas for transmission and/or reception. The elementary antennas are unipolar, and work in cooperation with a mass plane, where each elementary antenna comprises a rod extending toward center of the lens. An independent claim is also included for an optical assembly comprising a circuit element connected to each transparent elementary antenna of a lens to transmit and/or receive signals to/from the transparent elementary antenna.
