PURPOSE: A self-expansion device is provided to prevent the destruction of a main body due to the expansion pressure of carbon dioxide by adjusting the generating speed of the carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: A self-expansion device includes a main body(A), high absorbent resin powder(1), sodium bicarbonate powder(2), and a citric acid aqueous solution(3) contained in a bag(B). The high absorbent resin powder, the sodium bicarbonate powder, and the citric acid aqueous solution are embedded in the main body. The main body includes the dual-layered structure of a nylon film and a polyethylene film. The nylon film and the polyethylene film are thermally bonded. The high absorbent resin of the high absorbent resin powder is a sodium-acryl cross-linked polymer.
