PURPOSE: An apparatus for eliminating phosphorus in a sewage and wastewater treating facility is provided to improve filtering and absorbing efficiency and to reduce the discharging amount of carbon. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for eliminating phosphorus in a sewage and wastewater treating facility includes a treating water introducing pipe(11), a draining water discharging pipe(12), and a sludge discharging pipe(13). A cone-shaped body(21), an inner container(23), an intermediate container(25) are arranged in a main body(20). Sewage and wastewater are successively stirred through a first upward flow path(20a), a downward flow path(20b), and a second upward flow path. The inner container forms the first upward flow path, and the intermediate container forms a second upward flow path. A slanted plate(45) and activated carbon(42) are arranged at the intermediate container. |
